Hello parents. Here is our monthly blogger.
For this month our main focus was on Stories we tell. We had to talk about fables and fairytales. It is good to be talking about stories that have meaning and we can relate to. here is a breakdown of what we went through.
Saturday October 11th - fables - The Hare and the Tortoise.
This is a very fascinating story. The outcome you get is not the one you expected. It helped to us to understand that slow and steady wins the race. We had the so much fun making puzzles and drawing our own story as well. Our craft was a simple turtle for us to remember that we are able to do anything.
Story of the week :
carrying on with our theme of the month, we picked yet another interesting story, the Lion and the Mouse. This is yet another story, that is full of surprises, comparisons and a different outcome. the lion was helped by a mouse of all the animals. We had to visualize our own story as well, draw it and fix puzzles to make sense of it.

Saturday October 25th - Fairytales.
To wrap up our month, we talked about fairytales. Living in a bubble can be fun too. We talked about our favorite fairytales and watched them. it is good to have hope and imagine stories in a different perspective from your life. We also made our own cupcakes and put some frosting, yum!
