Arts and Craft

On the first week , we made our favorite community helper. This activity made them realized the importance of all our community helpers. We also noticed that each of the them has their own favorite community helpers .Kids learn they are part of a larger community and that its members rely on each other.
On the second week , we though about what kind of community helper we want to be? We med the I AM YOU COMMUNITY HELPER .This activity empowered the children to be aware about their possible responsibilities to their own community. It also cultivates aspirations that align with their interests and abilities. This process can help them become more motivated at school.
On the third week, we designed our own community/ village where we can see , meet , communicate and visit our community helpers. Design
their own town develops their creativity, problem-solving, and planning skills by having them create a unique town. They included essential components like roads, schools, and parks, and then encouraged them to elaborate more their arts using our community helpers.
On our last week , we made our THANK YOU letter for our lovely and very helpful community helpers. We would like to express our gratitude about their contribution and positive impact to our lives and our community. Kids wanted to tell them more and write more about how our community helpers helped them.

Before we move on to our main activities the kids are prepared with their vocabularies . The words involved are always introduced . For the whole month of November we learned about community helpers, the tools they use and the places they go to work effectively. We also learn some expressions of gratitude. Like , THANK YOU SO MUCH, THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP, I APPRECIATE YOUR HELP, YOU ARE WELCOME and YOU ARE GREAT. We want to express our gratitude to our helpers who keep our community okay.
Learning about community helpers tools and places helps the kids connect them to their jobs/responsibilities. Kids also learned how these places and tools essential for their work. Kids understood the the roles and by critical thinking they could link their tools to their function in the community.

GAMES

During our play, kids stretch their imaginations. They created their own rules. Children had to act out different solutions while boosting their confidence. They make their own rules and learn how to follow or adapt those rules as needed. Activities like running, balancing, and building with blocks help children develop gross and fine motor skills. We would like them to be active and have fun.

Movie time

The kids watch the movie CURIOUS GEORGE AND THE FIREFIGHTERS. In this movie kids saw that firefighters are very important in our community. They help and save people . Also , they learned that every community helpers need to be careful and do their job well.

READING TIME

Reading is always part of our main activity . We read books to delevelop the kids literacy skills. Reading develops the kids critical thinking and imagination.
The month of November is really amazing . We learned , we enjoyed and we could make beautiful arts. November is almost done. I hope everyone enjoyed the month where leaves turn into followers.
