The month of May is the gateway to summer. This month gives us joy and peace because of the colorful flowers around. This is also the best month for the kids to learn more about the nature and appreciate tiny creatures. Some of these creatures are just seen in a warm weather.

 ARTS AND CRAFT

On the 1st Saturday,we made ants art by using colored paper. We trace and draw their little cute hand to be used as the ants legs. With their tiny hands they could make this beautiful art. 🎨 

We also talked about how hard the ants work during summer time to get enough food for rainy and cold season.

On the second Saturday, we made this cute and lovely caterpillar. The kids were so amazed after they finally finished their caterpillar. They look nice. Some students were scared of caterpillars but because of the craft they found that caterpillars are not really scary. However , kids were also reminded that there are hairy caterpillars or wollybear caterpillars, these insect are dangerous to touch . It reminded the kids to be also responsible to their safety. They always have to call their parents or teachers when see them around.

On the 3rd Saturday , they made their own flying butterfly toy . It was fun to fly with their butterfly. 

We also talked about the butterfly's life cycle. How the caterpillars become beautiful butterflies.

On the 4th Saturday, we talked and made honey art. We also learned how the 🐝 🐝 🐝 can make delicious honey. This activity aims to learn appreciation to small creatures of the worlds that bring wonders to our lives

The kids favorite game of the month is the Chair dance game. They are learning the healthy competition in this game. It's nice to see kids giving their chair to others . They care about each other's feeling .

❤️ This month our focus was learning the phonics sound. This is important for the kids to learn the sound of each letter. It will help them to read.

These two books are the kids most favorite . 

❤️Naughty Narwhal is the story which we learned the importance of good manners. We cannot be always naughty anywhere and anytime we like. 

❤️I love my new toy is the story which we learned the importance of friendship and how to take care of our toys. 

I was fun to hear the kids argument/ opinion about these topics. They really have sweet and kind words.

Thank you very much for our Wonderful parents and kids . 

We will have more fun and more interesting activities for the next month ( JUNE ) lessons. I can't wait to meet these kids again .
